New GMC Hummer EV All-Wheel Drive Ebike Introduced by Recon

The new GMC Hummer EV All-Wheel Drive Ebike was created in collaboration with General Motors Corporation through a global licensing arrangement. It naturally complements the new GMC Hummer EV Supertruck as an AWD EV pair. Customers who have the new Hummer EV All-Wheel Drive Ebike may travel farther than they could previously to locations only reachable by two-wheeled vehicles.

The GMC Hummer EV AWD Ebike features amazing dual 750-watt hub motors with a maximum output of 2,400 watts and on-demand all-wheel drive. An LG battery that powers the AWD Ebike charges in 4 hours. It contains a waterproof battery pack with a 48 volt, 17 Ah standard capacity and a 21 Ah upgrade option. The cost of the ebike will increase by $176 with the enhanced battery option. The GMC Hummer EV Ebike is a “Super Ebike” with a starting price of just $3,999 that is developed and intended for complete off-road dominance.

The GMC Hummer EV All-Wheel Drive Ebike has three riding modes: Cruise, which only engages the rear-wheel drive, Traction, which only engages the front-wheel drive, and finally, Adrenaline, which, for the thrill-seeker, engages both wheels for all-wheel drive for maximum performance.

A front suspension that can be readily modified on the front fork is one of the extra features of the new GMC Hummer EV AWD Ebike. The dual 750-watt motors on the Hummer Ebike reach a maximum output of 2,400 watts and produce over 160 NM of torque. Additionally, it has 4-piston hydraulic brakes for on-demand braking and Shimona gearing for smooth riding. Puncture-resistant 4′′ tires with a molded-in liner are a basic feature of the AWD super-ebike.

The all-electric, all-wheel drive pair will be sold to customers directly at GMCEBIKE.com and GMC dealers globally.

According to Rich Latek, marketing director for GMC, “GMC is delighted to cooperate with Recon as they build the GMC HUMMER EV AWD Ebike.” This ebike “further increases customer’s flexibility to explore new off-road terrain, whether in the vehicle or out on the bike,” using design elements and inspiration from the GMC HUMMER EV Supertruck.

According to Jeff Fuze, CEO of Recon, “The Recon Team is excited to be the officially licensed partner manufacturing the GMC HUMMER EV AWD Ebike.” We consider it a pleasure to collaborate with GMC on this exceptional AWD Ebike of the highest caliber, which parallels the HUMMER EV’s unmatched position as the pioneer of EV off-road adventure.

Due to their dependability and endurance, Recon Power Bikes has become the preferred ebike manufacturer for police enforcement and the military. Recon Power Bikes produces electric bikes, which are used by federal agencies, three branches of the U.S. military, and local organizations in 47 states.

The market for electric bicycles is anticipated to nearly double in size over the next five years, from $49.7 billion in 2022 to $80.6 billion by 2027, according to the market research website MarketsandMarkets. Growth is also anticipated to continue after 2027.

Through the GMC dealer network and this relationship with General Motors Corporation, Recon Power Bikes may expand their consumer market footprint and further access a global market.
