For more than a decade, CleanTechnica has been actively educating people about cleantech. I don’t know about you, but I sincerely believe that the cleantech revolution needs to be accelerated. In light of this, we will begin seeking equity investment for the first time ever and aim to raise $24 million in the first few months of 2019. We will conduct an equity crowdsourcing raising using one of the websites designed for such purposes. You can own stock in our company, and we’ll do our best to give you a variety of ways to sell it whenever you’d want.

Anxiety for the climate is one of the causes. I have reached the point where I can no longer play around after reading the most recent IPCC report. FUD annoyance plays a part in it (fear, uncertainty, and doubt). Parties that are on the wrong side of history and stand to lose a lot of money if our economy shifts too quickly intentionally disseminate FUD. More than ever, I understand and empathize with those who work in the dirty energy sector. At the same time, it is obvious that a transition needs to be made as soon as possible (see point #1), but it must be done fairly and with as little harm (preferably none!) to the working class. CleanTechnica exposes FUD and dispels it at every opportunity, but we have a small audience compared to the many well-funded PR firms and media outlets that can overwhelm us with confusion-inducing noise and confusion.
You can own a piece of one of the most reputable renewable energy news companies by contributing to CleanTechnica. It will provide you early access to a business that is a leader in a sector that is only going to become more and larger as time goes on. There is a lot to do and we are in this for the long haul.
Here is our financial strategy:
To assist us in taking the next step, hire some talent. We think it’s time to hire additional professionals who are qualified to lead a media company into the next stage of operations, collaborations, and multimedia. We should advertise. Did you know that we have never invested any money in our own marketing? Every action we’ve taken has been natural; we earned each and every one of our readers (thank you all for being so great; for reading, sharing, commenting, and contributing to a cleantech future). Be innovative. There are so many unfinished back-burner projects that could help us reach more individuals with uplifting, transition-supporting content yet never seem to get off the ground. We offer concepts for conferences, publications, posters, and documentaries. Expand the platforms we use. We have a fantastic podcast that we would like to grow, and we also have a very new YouTube channel. Heck, our Instagram is only beginning (it took us more than 2 years to get the person using the CleanTechnica handle to give it back to us even though we own the trademark.) Don’t stop at the early adopters. You know who needs clean energy, electric vehicles, and nutritious food? Everyone. You are aware of our main audience. White, wealthy, and English-speaking men. We as a society must urgently introduce cleantech into every neighborhood. With this additional funding, we will broaden our audience and start a Spanish-language channel, among other things. Want to join us then?
